3ème, the year of the BREVET!

What does this test consist of? It consists of exams in 4 subjects: French, Maths, History-Geography and Science, as well as an oral test. They are marked out of 400 points.
French: 100 points

History-Geo EMC: 50 points
Sciences: 50 points

Here is the STUDIUS offer to best prepare for the Brevet

  • FRENCH : 

    • WEEKLY MINI-GROUP (5 students maximum) in one session of 2.5 hours. The sessions are partly devoted to support for school work in progress. We also offer various exercises (grammar, written expression, dictation) depending on the difficulties observed in the students. A time is set aside to practice exercises that specifically prepare for the success of the Brevet.   In case of great difficulty, individual support is also possible.

    • READING CLUB. Every Saturday, 2 h30 of reading of the classic works offered by the school program. The activity is done online and each participant reads aloud and in turn. This activity is led by a Literature student. After each session, you receive a mini commentary on your child's involvement in reading.

    • COURSES SUMMER REVISIONS : ESSENTIELS DU COLLEGE &  DISCOVERY OF BREVET : From 21 to 25th august or fraom 28th to 1rst of september.

    • STAGE  TOUSSAINT : LET'S DISCOVER  BREVET FRANCAIS   : from 23 to 27th of October or from 30 to 3rd of November  ( 4 hours every day from Monday to Friday).

    • WORKSHOP  BREVET PREPARATION: November 30, December 01 & 02,. 4 hours / day (12 hours).

    • DICTATION WORKSHOP : December 22 & 23, : 4 hours / day (8 hours).

    • FRENCH GRAMMAR WORKSHOP  : January 28 & 29 (10 hours).

    • WINTER COURSE INTENSIVE PREPARATION FRENCH BREVET :  from Monday 26 February to Friday 01 March or from Monday 04 to Friday 08 March (20 working hours)

    • LANDMARKS OF LITERARY HISTORY  : WE of March 25 & 26, 2023 (10 hours.).

    • EASTER COURSE  INTENSIVE PREPARATION FOR FRENCH BREVET  : from 22 to 26 April (8 hours.).

    • INTENSIVE PREPARATION COURSE FRENCH BREVET : WE of May 25 & 26 (12 hours).

    • HISTORY-GEO .

    • LES SAMEDIS DE L’HISTOIRE-GEO: Every 3rd Saturday of the month, 4 hours of face-to-face work (mini-group): putting on file and memorizing lessons from the History – Geography program and Brevet exercises in this subject. Beyond the effective learning of the contents of the course, the teacher will aim to transmit and integrate a working method to the students: how to revise effectively !

    • In case of great difficulty, individual support is also possible.

    • HISTOIRE-GEO INTENSIVE BREVET PREPARATION COURSE: WE of June 06 & 11 (12 hours.).

  • MATH :

    • LES SAMEDIS DES MATHS: Every 1st Saturday of the month, 4 hours of face-to-face or online work (mini-group): putting on file and memorizing lessons from the maths program and Brevet exercises in this subject

    • weekly session of 2 hours : individual or mini-group of 2 participants.

  • PHYSICS-CHEMISTRY  :

    • o Weekly session of 1 hour or 1.5 hours: individual or mini-group of 2 participants

    • o LES SAMEDIS DE LA PHYSIQUE - CHIMIE: every 2nd Saturday of the month, 4 hours of online work (mini-group): writing down and memorising the lessons of the physics-chemistry programme and Brevet exercises in this subject.​

  • SUMMER COURSES   in maths, French, history-geo or physics-chemistry  on request.

  • LANGUAGE COURSES  : English, Spanish, Italian, Greek, German, Mandarin, Japanese.
